Everyone here at Advanced Dental Care would like to express our gratitude for your patience during this time of crisis. We have been anxious to get back in the office and start taking care of our patients. Our hygienists will begin seeing patients on Wednesday, May 27. Dr. Koch will begin seeing patients on Monday, June 1. We again ask for your patience as we work to get everyone rescheduled who we’ve had to cancel over a 2 month period. We won’t be able to see everyone in the first week. Our priority is to first take care of those who have been in pain, then everyone else as soon as possible.

You’ll notice that our office will look a little different and how we handle things will be a little different. We’ll explain more when we call to reschedule your appointment. Dr. Koch has been busy making sure we are able to open back up with your safety and our safety being top priority. We are following strict CDC guidelines. We will have extra vacuums in each operatory where we do procedures that create aerosols, plus those operatories are being enclosed to minimize aerosols in the office. We will have assistants available to use high-speed vacuums when needed with hygiene visits. These are just a few of the many extra precautions we are taking.

We have always taken sterilization seriously in our office. We are patients here, too. With this virus, we will be going above and beyond our normal sterilization protocol and this will require additional time to be allowed between patients in each operatory, which means fewer patients seen in a day. Please keep this in mind as we are rescheduling appointments. We ask that you keep your appointment as scheduled. If appointments are canceled short notice or someone just doesn’t show up for an appointment, you have just kept someone else from receiving the treatment that they have been waiting patiently to get. Also, any cancellations or no show appointments will not be rescheduled until we have completely rescheduled everyone who had to be canceled during this time. We thank you for your cooperation and look forward to seeing each of you very soon!
