Ultratooth® Q & A

What are Ultratooth® dental implants?

Ultratooth dental implants are state-of-the-art solutions that replace your natural tooth roots.

Traditionally, getting dental implants required a complex oral surgery followed by several months of recovery. That recovery period was necessary for the dental implants to integrate with your jaw.

Ultratooth dental implants are unique in that they fuse with your bone immediately. That means you can bite and chew right away without having to worry about a lengthy rehabilitation.

What are the advantages of Ultratooth dental implants?

Ultratooth dental implants offer many advantages, including:

  • Improved oral health
  • Easier biting and chewing
  • Confidence
  • Durability

What’s more, Ultratooth dental implants provide instant results. There’s no recovery period or downtime, so you can return to normal activities right away.

Who is a candidate for Ultratooth dental implants?

If you have a missing or severely damaged permanent tooth, you’re a candidate for an Ultratooth dental implant. You might also benefit if you need an extraction. Following the removal of your permanent tooth, Dr. Koch can replace it with an Ultratooth dental implant.

What does getting Ultratooth dental implants involve?

At Advanced Dental Care of East Texas, getting an Ultratooth dental implant requires two quick visits about a week apart.

First, Dr. Koch numbs your mouth with a local anesthetic. Then, he places the Ultratooth implant into the socket where your tooth was. After securing the Ultratooth implant, Dr. Koch takes impressions of your mouth and covers it with a temporary crown. A dental facility uses your impressions to manufacture a custom crown.

When your custom crown is ready, you return to Advanced Dental Care of East Texas. Dr. Koch replaces your temporary crown with the permanent one and polishes your teeth.

What is recovery like after getting an Ultratooth dental implant?

There's no recovery period or downtime after you get your Ultratooth dental implant. You can bite and chew confidently, and there’s little risk of swelling or sensitivity. Your new crown might feel awkward at first, but you should adjust quickly. If you experience any pain, contact Dr. Koch right away.
